Enrich Africa was set up to facilitate lifelong, positive changes in the lives of women, young adults and children by implementing programs which create sustainable solutions to the challenges arising from disadvantage, poverty and social inequality. Enrich Africa will achieve this through a multifaceted approach that promotes the education, leadership, innovation, health, and personal and financial security of women, children, their families, and their communities. We believe that confident and economically empowered women and young people will go on to foster better lives for their families and their communities.
Women Integration Forum for Empowerment WOMEN INTEGRATION OF VOCATIONS, EMPOWERNMENT AND SKILLS (WIVES)
“Empowering women in the 21st century and beyond”
WIVES is a nonpartisan, nonprofit organisation which seeks to empower and motivate socially disadvantaged women, encourage and assist them to take more active roles in the society. We seek to eradicate illiteracy among women and promote social and entrepreneurship skills among women in general.
The project will focus mainly on rural women empowerment, health, literacy (education) and eradication of financial exclusion through the provision of micro credit and tools/machinery for empowerment such as hairdryers, pepper grinding machines, sewing machines, etc. We shall engage with small business owners, entrepreneurs and educational institutions. This project shall endeavour to partner with stakeholders in the community in order to enable an effective and judicious delivery of all our empowerment programmes. This
Initiative shall lend a hand by helping a woman to build, sustain and empower a generation of women and their children.
The WIVES program will play a leading role in advancing women’s education and literacy by making grants that support and strengthen women’s groups and workshops around the country and in Africa at large. We will mobilize and redistribute resources that enable women to develop creative solutions to local, regional, and transnational challenges. We bring grantees and donors together in an international network that promotes women’s action for social change, peace, and justice worldwide.

Program for advancement in education, skills and in business
Who is it for? For mothers, wives, widows and families especially girls.
How will it work? WIVES will work through grassroots networks and partnerships to identify among vulnerable women, the emerging change agents who are committed to transforming the lives of women and girls. Our participants include widows, mothers with only a primary school education, and women living on £1 a day. We also welcome into our program men who are eager to combat the underlying issues affecting women and girls. Our simple application requires that change agents form a team, identify their social issue priority and propose a solution to address that issue collectively. We target groups at the earliest stage of their idea development, and invite between 3 and 5 representatives of each selected team into our Academy for Leadership, Entreprise & Social Change. We aim to provide various avenues to build women up through - public speaking, volunteer and program management training and to attract girls to careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. We will offer training/recruitment, advocacy, business workshops, micro finance, legal advice for employment, land, business, domestic, pensions, unfair practices, violence, grants and awards, competitions, certificates, nursery schools, school projects, arts, exhibitions by women, crafts, fashion, beauty & hair products, businesses start up/advice, leadership training, for girls and women, and boys, careers advice, health advice, beauty training, parenting training, communication, customer services, interior decoration and cookery training, financial advice, international trade, leadership program for female church leaders – pastors, deacons, women ceos, head teachers, first ladies etc.
