An event which seeks to empower women and children is to take place in London. The event organised by social entrepreneur, artist, writer and educator, Morin Okenla through her new organisation called Enrich Africa will bring together inspirational women leaders in Britain. The women will share their life experiences, how they overcame barriers, teach new strategies and success systems for women and children. The organisation aims to help disadvantaged women, children and young adults living in the UK and in Africa.
Money raised will go towards micro loans for women and young adults in need. It will also provide grants to pay for school fees, uniforms, books and stationery for children. The event will take place at the All Nations Church Hall in Clapham, south London, in the United Kingdom on August 9, 2014. Time: 1pm to 5 pm. This is a registration only event. REGISTER HERE.
